Phobias and Fears

 

Hypnotherapy can be really effective to combat irrational fears and phobias such as:

 

  • Fear of flying, heights, pain or darkness

  • Social Anxiety

  • Panic Attacks

  • Arachnophobia

  • Agoraphobia

 

 

 

The way in which I work is to first help you to challenge the fear or phobia and discover why and when it began affecting you in a negative way. We then work to replace this limiting belief with a new positive and empowering one. Once this new 'program' has been accepted by your subconscious mind, the old negative mental pattern will cease to exist leaving you free to live life without the irrational fear. Four to five sessions are normally enough (this will vary according to each person and their unique situation) plus a personal audio recording will be included to re-affirm the new positive belief pattern. This recording is a very important part of the therapy and should be listened to daily for at least one month. This repetition will allow the postive change to be lasting and permanent.

Most fears and phobias can be helped greatly in between 1 and 3 sessions, but this does vary with each individual and their unique situation. We will discuss this at the beginning and create a treatment plan together.
