This agreement sets out the terms and conditions relating to our work together. We agree to work together to address the issues presented by you, the client.


  • Generally the techniques used at Healthy Habits Hypnosis can help people in just a few sessions. However, whilst the techniques used are extremely effective, results can vary and no guarantees or refunds are given.


  • We guarantee that all matters regarding your sessions will be kept absolutely confidential.


  • To achieve the positive change you want, you may be given certain guidelines to follow and/or ‘homework’ to complete in between our sessions. Your participation in ‘homework’ exercises will enable you to integrate the positive changes quicker and more lastingly into your life. If any guidelines given are not followed, the results of our work together may not be as successful.


  • Hypnotherapy and the other techniques we use, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and NLP ( Neuro-Linguistic Programming)  are not replacements for medical treatment, psychological or psychiatric services or counselling. Healthy Habits Hypnosis will not treat, prescribe for or diagnose any medical condition. If you have any doubt or any questions regarding your mental or physical health, please contact your mental health advisor or GP before booking a session with us. Do not alter or stop any treatment or medication you are receiving without getting the prior consent of your medical practitioner or mental health advisor.


  • Depending on the issues that you present, these techniques may not be suitable for you at this time. In this case you will be advised that your situation may be outside of the scope of hypnotherapy and alternative treatment will be suggested.


  • Relevant background or personal information may be required to assist your sessions. These details must be given as accurately and truthfully as possible.


  • A 50 % deposit by BACS payment is required to secure your booking. The balance is payable at each session and can be made by cash or card.


  • As we will have reserved an appointment time for you, it is our policy to charge 50% of the session fee for any cancellations received less than 48 hours prior to your appointment.


  • Healthy Habits Hypnosis will use all of our professional capability and knowledge during our sessions to support the positive changes you want to make. However, it is ultimately up to yourself to take the responsibility required to activate these changes in your life.


  •  Some of what we work on may bring up uncomfortable feelings or thought patterns. It is necessary to face things that have been under the surface as once they have been brought out into the open we can deal with them and let them go. This enables us to make lasting change. We just need to remember that the uncomfortable feelings are temporary and will pass. We will support you fully in our sessions and ensure that you have some ‘tools’ to utilize in between sessions to deal with any difficult emotions that may come up.


  • Anyone under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other substances will not be treated.


Reading this before commencing treatment with Healthy Habits Hypnosis means that you fully understand and agree to the above terms and conditions of us working together.
